Lunch takes place at Aluoi town and we then spend the whole afternoon on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a legendary road in the war time
Day 1: Hue to Aluoi to Prao
We begin the tour following highway 49 up to the top of Ma Oi pass where we stop for swimming at Mau waterfall and see the handicraft sewing of the Van Kieu ethnic minority.
Lunch takes place at Aluoi town and we then spend the whole afternoon on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a legendary road in the war time.
This scenic route is a spectacular ride and takes us off road through the mountains, stopping to visit some ethnic minority villages that live along Ho Chi Minh Trail.
The first night is spent in Prao town, where you will have free time to explore the mountain town at night.
Day 2: Prao to Hoi An
On day 2 we continue 52km to Thanh My on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. We cross the river by local boat and ride along a village road to My Son – a World Heritage site. We stop at My Son to explore the ruins and take many photos.
Day 3: Hoi An to Kham Duc
We travel from Hoi An to My Son a World Heritage site that is the Cham version of Angkor Wat. Next we cross the river by boat to Thanh My where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon we travel along the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Kham Duc,stopping at a beautiful waterfall along the way to take photo’s.
Day 4: Kham Duc to Kon Tum
We visit and swim at Dakga waterfall, go along the Ho Chi Minh trail across the Lo So pass. On the road we stop at some hill tribe villages. visit Dak To-Tan Canh, the victory monument of VC in 1972. In the afternoon we arrive in Kon Tum then tour the city to visit the Vinh Son Orphanage, a beautiful black wooden church, Bana minority village with their Rong Houses and visit old men playing bamboo instruments.
Day 5: Kon Tum to Buon Ma Thuot
This day we stop in sea lake near Pleiku, see rubber tree and coffee plantations, green pepper crops. Boun Ma Thout is famous for making the best Coffee in Vietnam, so this is the place to stock up and maybe enjoy a cup or two at a side walk cafe.
Day 6: Buon Ma Thuot to Lak Lake
In the morning we go to the majestic Dray Sap waterfalls, then in the afternoon we go to lak lake. Check in to the hotel then we visit the local Mnong Ethnic hill tribe. That evening enjoy a traditional music performance of the Mnong ethnic people.
Day 7: Lak Lake to Dalat
In the morning you have free time to perhaps ride an elephant or take a local boat across Lak Lake. Then we spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful landscape along the road to Dalat, arriving in the late afternoon.
Day 8: Dalat to Nha Trang or Mui ne
Today you can choose to travel to the popular tourist beach of Nha Trang, the quieter but equally beautiful Mui Ne with its stunning sand dunes or head south to the busy city of Ho Chi Minh(Saigon) Tour ends in the afternoon on arrival at your hotel.
